Sometimes you can find nice things in dumpsters. In this case I found the table and seats of an ‘old’ picknic table (they are in a really good condition). After asking the owner of the dumbster I could take the table and seats.

I used Solidworks to work out the correct geometry basing the design on already existing convertable picknic tables. Together with a friend we bought some wood and constructed the picknic table.
